Ilan Weiser exclusively represents management on a wide range of labor and employment matters in a variety of industries, including healthcare, hospitality, and construction. His practice concerns defending employers in complex class and collective litigation and with respect to audits and investigations before federal and state administrative bodies, including the United States Department of Labor, New York State Department of Labor, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and National Labor Relations Board. Mr. Weiser communicates with his clients on a regular basis and advises businesses on compliance with applicable employment law and in developing, implementing and enforcing personnel policies and procedures, including hiring, termination, leaves, and accommodation of disabilities.
Prior to joining Greenwald Doherty, Mr. Weiser was an associate in the employment law firm of Shulman Kessler LLP, with a specific focus on wage and hour violations.
Mr. Weiser is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Hofstra University School of Law. He also has studied in both Madrid and Barcelona, Spain, and has international legal work experience in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is fluent in written and spoken Spanish and proficient in Hebrew.
