Tara is an experienced employment attorney that represents management in a variety of industries. She provides companies with customized policies to protect their interests, create positive work cultures and reduce potential litigation. Tara negotiates, and drafts employment contracts, ensures policies and handbooks comply with State and Federal employment laws, conducts workplace training seminars to educate management on topics pertaining to diversity, discrimination and harassment, and advises clients on complex employee relations matters. She represents clients in New York State and Federal Courts, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New York State Division of Human Rights, and the New York City Commission of Human Rights.
Prior to joining Greenwald Doherty, Tara practiced as a litigator at top tier law firms, and served as Associate General Counsel at one of New York City’s largest private employers.
